About Me

Hi, I’m Jessica Winter, a Senior Front-End Developer based in Illinois with nearly seven years of experience building responsive, accessible WordPress websites and digital experiences.

I graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Arts Technology, where I discovered my passion for blending creativity with technology. Since then, I’ve built websites across more than 21 automotive OEM programs and contributed to 200+ dealership websites, helping bring designs to life through clean, maintainable code and thoughtful user experiences.

What I enjoy most about front-end development is finding creative solutions to complex problems. Whether I’m customizing a WordPress theme, improving accessibility, troubleshooting tricky UI bugs, or building reusable components, I love figuring out how to make existing tools work better and creating experiences that feel intuitive for both users and content editors.

As my career has grown, so has my role. In addition to development, I mentor new team members, improve internal documentation, and collaborate with designers, developers, and leadership to deliver high-quality work while continuously refining our processes.

I’m currently looking for opportunities where I can continue growing as a front-end developer, contribute to meaningful projects, and work with a team that values collaboration, creativity, and building great user experiences.
